Tennis at
Seton
Catholic
is a program with a rich tradition. Over the years, we have held
several CVAC and Section titles, and have had many players make All-Conference teams.
Practice and home matches are held offsite at the MacDonough Hall tennis courts, located on
Rugar Street
behind the Memorial Hall building at
Plattsburgh
State
.
Both the boys and girls teams play in the spring. Our teams compete in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference with eight other schools. The boys are eligible to qualify for the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Championships, which is held at the
Billie
Jean
King
National
Tennis
Center
in Flushing Meadows, NY, home of the U.S. Open.
The Knight tennis program is dedicated to excellence, on and off the court. Knight athletes
are students first and are expected to be highly motivated in the classroom while serving as ambassadors of the school. For this reason, members of the Seton Catholic tennis team are expected to be outstanding in all that they do.
